The class can stay at mid range and just dish out damage even if the guardian gets in your face you can just shield or use a ability with protection ruin or one of the build in shields in the damaging abilities. Braindead class, and as you say just stand there and, nothing do nothing.. 90% of warlords (dunno why they fuck they call em gunlancers now) actually believe they are tanks, doesnt know a single mechanic for anything, they lack in all aspects. Fun class tho as any other in the game. Personally think Eso WD and Striker (either variation, but probably wouldn't go for Deathblow as an early alt) are incredibly fun. [EDIT: they might not be great early on though, at least 1370 would be nice to park and relic makes them pop off.] You can't go wrong with any 3 of the classes though..
